Who We Are and What We've Done
Central Texas Health Research has been conducting clinical research on investigational medications since 1985 and has successfully performed over 400 clinical trials.
Recruitment and Retention
Population
New Braunfels boasts a population of over 50,000, and we are easily accessible to the larger population of San Antonio, as well as several other smaller cities in the area.
This area offers a diverse population across all demographic groups. We also have three strong allergy seasons throughout the year including the winter pollinating Mountain Cedar that is unique to central Texas.
Meeting Enrollment Goals
Our full time recruiter works closely with the coordinating staff to bring appropriate subjects in for screening and enrollment. Our volunteer database, targeted advertising programs, and limited competition enable us to quickly screen subjects and enroll studies.
Central Texas Health Research has been very successful in meeting study enrollment goals in an efficient and expeditious manner. As a result, we are often asked by Sponsors to exceed our enrollment goal.
Retention
Because we are in a small city, our office is easily accessible. This, combined with the continuity of care from our friendly, helpful staff are some of the reasons that our retention is excellent.
